9th/10th January 2011 Women's Group & Men's Group
Both had their first meetings with the Men's group having a Hot pot supper complete with Apple pie & cream after the official business of their AGM, and was followed by a DVD of Warrington's connection with the Slave trade. The Women's group had their annual dinner at Statham Lodge and was a success in terms of numbers attending, with the food being very good.
Both groups welcome new members.
23rd December 2011 Grappenhall Library
A new beginning for our local closed Library as the keys are handed over to the representatives of the NEW Community Library. These bookshelves will be repaired and filled with more than 3000 books. Opening date is likely for next month. Come and see YOUR new library and meeting place, Opening in early February.

A new Rector has been appointed for our lovely village church, Rev Jane Proudfoot currently curate at St Thomas's Church in Stockton Heath. Jane will take up her new position in the next six to nine months. Welcome Jane.

24th October 2010 The Friends of St Wilfrids.
And today was the launch of "The Friends of St Wilfrids" , an introduction to the reasons for the scheme and how to join were made in Church. The scheme is aimed at parishioners of the local area, who have moved away from the Parish, cannot attend, gone abroad and have an affinity with the Parish.
