                                   Annual Church Meeting 2009-2010

The Annual Church Meeting took place at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre.  The meeting was well attended.  In addition to the presentation of the Annual Report and the Accounts for 2009, and a thought provoking address by the Rector, a number of reports of the activities of St Wilfrid's organisations were available.  These organisation reports give a good insight into the many and diverse activities at St Wilfrids and they can be inspected by following this link.

The above piano is available from us as is and requires some repair. A good project for a school or homeworker. The piano has ivory keys with some missing, see above ,  and has very good castors for movement.

The church decorated for the wedding  of a member of the church.

This is the Nave and Chancel, although the stone columns were adorned with flowers also.

This photograph shows the porch decorated with flowers and to make it just right, three groomsmen who are to attend the wedding.

         09th August 2010               The Volunteers

A group of parishioners met at the Parish centre to give the building some TLC.  At the end of the day you could see the improvements that had taken place with the paintbrushs and other implements.  Well done to the lads and the lady who turned up over these few days.   No photo, sorry.
